There isn’t much to be said about Wout van Aert.

After a winter in the shadow of Mathieu van der Poel (despite the rianbow jersey) he has turned to the road and lit up the classics.

Belgium needed a one day racing hero post Boonen. Not one of the more established guys but a rider for the future, someone to hang their hat on long term.

This guy is that man.
